Toko is a member of the Kapea and Matthews whānau of Kauangaroa, and is an ambitious businessman through his career with Tuia Group and his private holdings. He came to the Board of Ngāti Apa Developments Ltd with an impressive resume in terms of past and current employment, and relevant governance experience and training.

Tony Gray CA

Tony is an accomplished chartered accountant and corporate director. He is currently the Chief Financial Officer for Hastings District Council, and has held similar positions with several high profile corporations including Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu, Mighty River Power and TVNZ.

Kevin Were Bachelor of Agricultural Science

Kevin is an agricultural expert with substantial experience in the implementation of post settlement commercial structures and investments. He played an important role in the Pouakani Settlement and is currently managing Pouakani operations. His experiences and skills extend to cover farm advice, rural valuation and investment. He has governance experience in private and Iwi owned enterprises.

Andrew French MBS

Andrew is an accomplished economist and business manager having lead the Trade New Zealand mission in South Korea as a trade ambassador. He has worked for many years in the commercial and finance sectors in Treasury, the Ministstry of Maori Development and in a UK Bank on their treasury desk. He is a Ngati Apa member with strong ties to Turakina.
