Public Notice of Special General Meeting and Ballot

Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Apa Society Incorporated and Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Apa Trust hereby advise that a Special General Meeting for each organisation will be held on Sunday 4 December 2011 at Kauangaroa Marae commencing at 1pm.

Agenda:

1.	Karakia and Mihimihi
2.	Outline of Proposals by the Chairperson
3.	Vote on replacing Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Apa Society Incorporated by Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Apa Trust as the mandated iwi organisation for the purposes of the Maori Fisheries Act and ratifying the constitutional documents of Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Apa Trust as the mandated iwi organisation for the purposes of the Maori Fisheries Act. Also the vote will include having Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Apa Trust replacing Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Apa Society Inc as the Iwi Aquaculture Organisation for Ngati Apa.
4.	Vote on Constitutional Amendments to Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Apa Trust

Adult registered members of Ngāti Apa will receive explanatory information and a ballot form in the post and may either vote at the meeting or return their ballot in the envelope provided. Those adults of Ngāti Apa descent who are not registered may request a registration form and voting pack from the Rūnanga office.
